MUNCIE – Anita K. Conn, 31, died unexpectedly Oct. 18, 2011, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born Aug. 6, 1980, in Muncie, to Bruce and Diane Walburn Beard. She married Matthew Conn, who survives.
She graduated from Southside High School in 1999 and attended Ivy Tech School of Nursing. She was a CNA at Muncie Health and Rehabilitation Center, and formerly worked in the CCU Unit at Ball Memorial Hospital, Hoosier Pete on 28th Street, BB Celebration Center and DOTS Clothing Store.
Also surviving are her mother; her son, Nazareth Conn; grandparents, Dora and Warren Walburn and Joe and Sandy Greer; brothers; and a sister. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel. Burial will be in Yorktown Cemetery.
Calling is from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
