Just a month prior to his sentencing for reckless homicide, Dexter Lee Anglin, 18, was arrested for public intoxication and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.
At 4:33 a.m. Saturday, Warsaw police officers found Anglin lying in a ditch south of U.S. 30, west of Parker Street, Warsaw.
According to police reports, he had apparently thrown up on himself and smelled strongly of alcohol. When asked if he had been drinking, he allegedly said no, but registered 0.166 on a portable breath test. The legal alcohol limit for an adult over age 21 is 0.08.
Anglin was booked into Kosciusko County Jail on a $250 bond.
He is to be sentenced Dec. 11 for the May 2003 car accident death of Tara Likens. Police reports indicate that Anglin was under the influence of marijuana at the time of the accident.
