Angeline “Angie” Weirick, 56, Warsaw, passed away at 9:55 p.m. Jan. 30, 2014, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She fought long and hard for 15 years battling cancer. She was born Nov. 9, 1957, in Columbus, Ohio, to Hershel and Mary Blevins Hurt. On April 29, 1989, in Warsaw, she was united in marriage to Terry Weirick, who survives in Warsaw. She worked for Superior Wood in the finishing department. She enjoyed her hobbies, woodworking, reading books, crocheting, puzzles and playing games. She also enjoyed grilled steaks, pizza and cheese dip with her favorite beverage. She attended Warsaw Community Church, Warsaw. Also surviving are a daughter, Wendy (and spouse Jamie) McClone, Warsaw; three sons, William and Tim (and spouse Stephanie) Dawson and Charles Weirick, all of Warsaw; three sisters: Shirley (and spouse Randy) Johnson, Warsaw; Sue (and spouse John) Caldwell, LaGrange; Regina Reed, Marion, Ohio; four brothers: J.R. (and spouse Sue) Hurt, Atwood; Robert (and spouse Rhonda) Hurt, Rochester; Jack Hurt, Warsaw; Paris Jr. Reed, Marion, Ohio; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her dog, Daizy aka Da-Doo who died in July 2013, she was 13 and Daizy was like one of the kids ...”Got special treatment.” Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor EJ Underwood officiating.
