Andrew David York, 41, Warsaw, died at 7:33 a.m. March 5, 2010, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 11, 1968, in Harbor City, Calif., to Bruce and Jan Moore York. On July 2, 1994, in Chicago, he married Laura Byrer, who survives.
Formerly of Fort Wayne, he was employed at Lake City Enterprise as the Improvement Leader. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter-Day Saints in Warsaw. He graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 1986. He received his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University and a master's degree in business from Indiana University. He was a loving husband and father and will be missed by all who knew him. He enjoyed fishing with his family. He liked playing a round of golf with friends.
Also surviving are his parents, Bruce and Jan York; three sons: Nathan, Tristen and Brandon; a daughter, Evelyn; two brothers, Aaron (and spouse Marie) York, Fort Wayne, and Eric (and spouse Benay) York, Angola; three sisters: Carla (and spouse Lonnie) Houser, Indianapolis; Kendra (and spouse Edgard) Coral, Utah; Kirstyn (and spouse Fernando) Niebbia, Warsaw; a maternal grandmother, Jean Risch, Connersville; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Titus Funeral Home, 200 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, with Bishop Erik Davies officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery following the service.
Calling is one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
