Andrew A. Brown, 83, of 87 S. Pointer Lane, Warsaw, died at 9:10 a.m. March 3, 2007, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

He was born Aug. 6, 1923, in Scarsdale, N.Y., to George Marx and Ethel Lindsay Drennen Brown. On Sept. 4, 1948, he married Alice Parker Foss, who survives.

Living in Kosciusko County for four and a half years, he worked in sales and management at Diebold Office and Banking Industries, and was a World War II U.S. Army Air Corp veteran, serving from 1943-45, and as a radar technician on the Enola Gay Project. He was a member of and active in Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Warsaw, and Gideons International. He participated in many mission trips to Mexico, Guatemala, Bonaire, Austria, Russia, Alaska and Argentina. He graduated from Scarsdale High School and Syracuse (N.Y.) University, with a business degree.

Also surviving are three children: Mrs. Tom (Carin) Roy, Winona Lake; Larry Brown, Dothan, Ala.; and Mrs. Dale (Nancy) Belcher, Independence, Kan.; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, George Donald Brown, Montpelier, Vt. He was preceded in death by a sister.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Warsaw, with the Rev. Ron Horgan officiating. A reception will follow.

A private military graveside service will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
