An ‘Easy’ OutFirefighters were able to quickly knock down Tuesday evening's fire on East Main Street in Warsaw. Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory responded at 7:27 p.m. Tuesday to a report of a fire in the basement at 1521 E. Main St. WWFT Public Information Officer Max Kinsey said the fire was under control in 12 minutes, no one was hurt and about $1,000 of contents in the home were damaged. WWFT was assisted at the scene by Warsaw Police Department, Winona Lake Fire Department, Lutheran EMS and the American Red Cross.
