NAPPANEE – Amos Jesse Sheets, 92, formerly of Nappanee, died at 12:05 a.m. May 7, 2015, at Greencroft Nursing Center, Goshen, where he had resided for five years. He was born March 18, 1923, in Locke Township, to Curtis and Chloe Pippenger Sheets. On Feb. 14, 1945, in Gravelton, he married Virginia Jackson, who died Sept. 10, 2014. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Union Center Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Frank Ramirez officiating. Burial is in Union Center Cemetery. Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
