NAPPANEE – Ammon Hochstetler, age 85, of Nappanee, died at 6 a.m., Sunday, May 19, 2019, at his residence after a short illness.
He was born January 3, 1934, in Arthur, Ill., to Joe and Barbara Kauffman Hochstetler. His first marriage was to Edith Burkholder on September 27, 1956. She preceded him in death August 30, 1988. He then married Katie Ann Miller on October 26, 1989.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Monday, May 20 and all day Tuesday, May 21 at the Jerry Miller residence, 7896 N. CR 800W, Nappanee. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 22 at the Devon Schwartz residence, 8099 N. CR 800W, Etna Green. Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church will officiate and burial will be in Graber Cemetery.
