Editor, Times-Union: I’m Ronnie L. Patrick, founding pastor of New Beginnings Church and World Outreach here in Warsaw, and I once again must share what is in my heart.
Daniel Webster once said, “If we abide by the principles taught in the Bible, our country will go on prospering and to prosper; but if we and our posterity neglect its instructions and authority, no man can tell how sudden a catastrophe may overwhelm us and bury all our glory in profound obscurity.”
We as a nation is turning our back on God. We are calling evil good and good evil. It is hate speech to speak out against false religions, but OK to spend taxes dollars to put a cross in a bottle of urine, and call it art.
A pastor was ran through the ringers, so to speak, for saying he was going to burn a Koran, which I did agree with, but yet our president can give orders to burn two containers of Bibles.
America is in trouble, and our only answer is a returning to God and his word. Church, we must pray, before it is too late.
