Each year, the local chapter of the American Legion presents Americanism Awards to four Edgewood students. One girl and one boy are selected from both the seventh and eighth grades. The award is based upon scholarship, courage, service, leadership, honor and patriotism. Each of the students received a savings bond and a certificate. Pictured are Lenora Stump, Kiara Stewart, Grant Allbritten and Commander Bruce Knouff.
