Political leaders forget that we're Americans first, (brothers and sisters). It seems Democrats and Republicans fight among themselves about things that are plain stupid. Our brave men and women are dying each day from bad intelligence that started from day one.
Why do we give so much money to foreign aid to countries that hate us, and will not lift a finger to help us in any way? Money can't buy you love, and it sure can't buy us any help from any of the countries we give money to at a time when, just to name, a few schools need supplies, teachers need more money to stay in the profession, road improvements and the list goes on. And the sad part is we can't pay for anything ourselves. How much do we owe China now? And, like a gas pump running, as you fill your car it keeps running higher and higher.
Exxon has not paid the balance on what they owe from the Alaska oil spill, and you can forget about any interest. Did you know we don't have to buy oil from anybody? There is enough in Alaska, offshore reserves, and the government limits how much oil pumps can pump monthly. What crisis are we waiting on? There is more oil in Alaska alone than there is in all of Saudi Arabia.
There are more millionaires now than ever before, and in the last eight years it's doubled, and they pay hardly any taxes at all. Don't get me wrong, it's great to have a goal to make as much as you can. But why is it that people like you and I, the middle class and below, have to pay for everything? Big companies don't pay hardly any taxes and the CEOs make record amounts while the company goes under or to another country.
Problems can be fixed very easy. Send a fleet of oil tankers to Iraq and fill them and keep filling them to pay for war. Iraq makes about 40 billion a month in oil profit. How much goes to help fight the war? 0. The money goes to tribal leaders and political leaders that are lining their pockets. The money that tribal leaders get spend it on weapons to keep funding the war.
I bet you everything this would change if we took a different stand and stopped pouring money into Iraq and foreign aid to other countries. We better wake up and smell the coffee before it's too late. America needs help, but do you see or have anyone offering to help us in anyway?
