Amanda Ellis, 97, Warsaw, died at 11:43 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020, at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw.
She was born Aug. 31, 1922, in Canton, Miss., to Leebirdia Burks Blackmom and Jessie Blackmom. Amanda was first married to William Johnson, who preceded her in death. She later married Walter Ellis, who survives.
A life celebration service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday.
