COLUMBIA CITY – A golf event to raise funds to help end Alzheimer’s disease has been planned. The event is Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. at Magic Hills Golf Course, 5050 N. Virginia Trail, Columbia City. The golf course is owned by Russel Fahl, who also owns Westhaven Estates, Warsaw. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the golf event will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association. The cost is $50 per person. The event includes an 18-hole golf course, a four-person scramble, food and drinks, prizes for the top three teams and longest drive, closest to the hole and longest putt prizes.
