Alyssa Brunner Crowned Miss Mentone 2025

MENTONE – Alyssa Brunner was named Miss Mentone 2025 Saturday during the final activities of the three-day Egg Festival.
First runner-up was Danielle Riley and second runner-up was Lizzie Daniels. The fourth participant was Tressalynn Witham.
Bri McBrier, organizer of Miss Mentone, interviewed each of the contestants before announcing the winners.
Brunner is 16 years old and is going into her junior year at Triton Jr./Sr. High School.
Her sponsor is Paul Davis Restoration.
Brunner said in order to raise money for the Miss Mentone contest, she sold popcorn, cotton candy and bottled water.
Riley will be turning 15 today and will be a sophomore at Tippecanoe Valley High School.
Her sponsor is CFC Distributors.
Riley said in order to raise money for the Miss Mentone contest, she sold clothes for $1.
Daniels is 14 years old and will be a freshman at Tippecanoe Valley High School. She said she loves to cheer and play softball.
To raise money, she sold cookies and flowers.
Witham is 18 years old. She loves working with animals, hanging out with friends and driving around listening to music. Witham works for the Animal Welfare League.
She graduated this year from Tippecanoe Valley High School so she’s doing online college classes for college to be a kennel tech.
Her sponsor is the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County.
To raise money, Tressalynn did a duck pond.
McBrier said the contestants did an amazing job this and really dedicated themselves and “just blew me away.”
After winning Miss Mentone, Brunner said she was excited. She wanted to participate in the pageant contest because she wanted to build self-confidence and get to know the community better. She got to do that by talking to more people through running her booth selling things.
