Warsaw's Altrusa Club is being saluted in the April 13-15 edition of USA Weekend magazine.
Altrusa Club of Warsaw assisted the Warsaw Community Public Library with its book sale. The sale raised $675.60 for books. Twenty-five members volunteered.
Altrusa Club is among those being honored for volunteer projects performed Oct. 28 during the 16th Make A Difference Day, sponsored by USA Weekend in partnership with the non-partisan Points of Light Foundation. As a carrier of USA Weekend, the Times-Union is a co-sponsor of Make A Difference Day. This day is the nation's largest day of community service.
