Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
The Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce celebrated the opening of Alpha and Omega Fence Company with a ribbon-cutting Wednesday.
“I’ve been in the trades for 28 years, and the most profound effect I’ve seen on a homeowner’s face is when they see their new fence, deck or pergola. It completely transforms their property and improves the beauty, functionality and security of their home or business,” said owner Stephen Hatton.
The company is owned by Stephen and Tarena Hatton and specializes in fencing, decks and pergolas.
Every project they work on carries the “Hopper and Hattie Paw of Approval.” Hopper and Hattie are the Hattons' Mini Goldendoodles.
The owners worked together to come up with the name, drawing on their strong Christian faith.
“We want to be able to impact others' lives in a positive way … Steve recently went on a mission trip and was able to build homes in Guatemala for families that didn’t have any homes,” said Tarena.
Stephen continued by describing how they are involved in the Heartland Pregnancy Center and Kanine Klassic 5K for the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County. Stephen said they are looking for ways to “foster growth in our community and any way we can … help improve, that’s what we want to use our business for.”
