KENTON, Ohio – Alonzo Allen, 69, of Dola, Ohio, died Friday, Nov. 15, 2019, at St. Ritas Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.
He was born on Nov. 12, 1950, in Fredville, Ky., to the late Jimmie and Dottie Conley Allen. On June 28, 1969, he married Sadie Castle, and she survives in Dola.
In his free time, Alonzo enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Also surviving are one son, Michael Allen, of Dola; two sisters, Shirley Mae (Rob) Scott and Pauline Allen, both of Warsaw; two brothers, Monroe (Paulie) Allen and Nero (Jeanie Prater) Allen, both of Warsaw; one grandson, David Michael Allen; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Allen; and two sisters, Janic Allen and Stella Sue Moore.
Services for Alonzo Allen will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20 at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home, Kenton, Ohio, with Pastor Jim Gatchell officiating. Burial will follow in Dola Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
