SYRACUSE - Alma Juliene Webb, 70, of Syracuse, died at 8:30 p.m. March 23, 2010, in her residence.

She was born Nov. 4, 1939, in Huntington, W.Va., to John James and Irene S. Miller Burton. On June 3, 1956, in Huntington, she married Jimmie Dale Webb, who survives.

She attended East Huntington High School. She moved to Syracuse from Jackson, Mich., in 1999, where she had lived for 45 years. She was a homemaker and formerly worked as a cake decorator at Meijer's in Michigan. She was a member of New Life Christian Church, Warsaw.

Also surviving are two daughters, Tonya (and spouse Stephen) Gaffney, North Webster, and Rebecca (and spouse Robert) Tynan, Syracuse; two sons, Jimmie Jr. (and spouse Inez) Webb and John Allen Webb, all of Jackson, Mich.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Onetta Ellis, Lorain, Ohio, and Catherine Jenkins, Florence, Ky. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter and two brothers.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Pastor John B. Lowe officiating.
