SYRACUSE - Allen Wayne Glant, 73, of Leesburg, died Feb. 16, 2010, in his residence.
He was born Oct. 28, 1936, in Warsaw, to Sam and Donnabelle Ulrey Glant. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Glant.
He retired from Consolidated Freightways 10 years ago.
Also surviving are his mother, Donnabelle Glant; two brothers, Larry and Jack Glant; eight children: Dan (and spouse Bonny), Randy, Butch and Todd Warren and Joe, Troy, Mitch (and spouse Donna) and Beth Glant; six grandchildren: Samantha (and spouse Shawn) McGinnis; Victoria, Josh, Jacob and Chris Warren; and Danielle Bodkin; and a great-grandchild, Skyelynn Bodkin. He is also survived by his beloved dogs, Beau and Charlie. He was preceded in death by his father and a grandson.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Concord Cemetery, Rookstool Road, with Floyd Farber officiating.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Eastlund Funeral Home, 7458 E. CR 1000N, Syracuse.
