BOURBON – Allen R. Rush, 48, of Warsaw Meadows Care Center, and formerly of Tippecanoe, passed away at 8:10 a.m. Jan. 21, 2013. He was born March 21, 1964, in South Bend, to Larry and Rebecca Futch Rush. He was a lifelong resident of the Tippecanoe area and worked at AM General until his illness. He also attended Bourbon First United Methodist Church when he was able. He enjoyed all kinds of aircraft, naval memorabilia and celebrating the Fourth of July. Surviving are his father, Larry Rush, Tippecanoe; two daughters, Nikki Temple and Tracey Schafer; a son, Joe Rush; four grandchildren; a sister, Sue Rush; and a nephew, Kyle, Tippecanoe. He was preceded in death by his mother. In honoring his wishes, there will be no services. Cremation will take place. Burial will be at a later date in Tippecanoe Cemetery.
