NORTH MANCHESTER - Allen "Dussie" Dingess, 63, of Wabash, died at 1:30 a.m. July 1, 2009, in his residence.
He was born April 1, 1946, in Duhue, W.Va., to Ray and Coral Lee Dalton Dingess.
He worked at the former United Technologies, North Manchester, for 15 years.
Surviving are his mother, Cora Lee Dingess, North Manchester; a companion; a former wife; two daughters, including Sherry (and spouse Kenneth) Baker, Warsaw; three brothers; seven sisters, including Christean Calloway, North Manchester; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Servia.
Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
