Guy and Christine Allen, LaPorte, announce the engagement of their daughters, Nicole Allen, Huntington, to Nathaniel Christie, Warsaw. He is the son of Mary Christie and Steve Christie, both of Warsaw.
The bride-to-be is a family case manager at the Department of Child Services, Huntington. She graduated from LaPorte High School in 2000, and earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and sports studies from Grace College in 2005.
The groom-elect is co-manager at Richard's Restaurant, Columbia City. He is a 1998 graduate of Monarch Christian Academy, Warsaw.
