Roger and Dottie Allen will mark their 50th wedding anniversary July 22, 2008. Roger Allen and Dottie Danner were married July 22, 1958, at Albion United Methodist Church with the Rev. R. Ewdin Green officiating.
He retired from Conrail Railroad after 42 years. She worked for United Telephone Co. for 17-1/2 years and retired after 11 years with Wawasee Community School Corp.
The couple have two daughters, Lorell (and spouse Carl) Bevins, Warsaw, and Melinda Allen, Milford. They have two granddaughters and one great-grandson.
The couple will celebrate the anniversary with a family gathering.
