A North Webster man is in custody for allegedly having an illegal methamphetamine lab after tips from neighbors helped lead the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force to his home.
Gregory Ray Flynn, 41, of 7220 E. Blacks Court, North Webster, was arrested for possession of legends or precursors and was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at 11:20 a.m. Monday. His bond was set at $2,000 for the Class D felony.
Concerned residents in the area of Black's Trailer Court in North Webster informed the drug task force of an unusually strong chemical odor. During their investigation, officers were directed to Flynn's home.
Once inside, officers found a tank of anhydrous ammonia and other ingredients used to manufacture methamphetamine.
The information from local citizens is credited in the seizure of this illegal drug lab as well as several others in the community.
