Three local girls basketball players were named the 2011-12 All-Three Rivers Conference First Team. In a conference that had a four-way split for the championship between Tippecanoe Valley, Manchester, Wabash and Rochester, each team got a girl on the first team, with the Rochester Lady Zebras getting two. Along with Rochester’s Abbie Malchow and Alanie Sroufe making the first team, Manchester’s Kayla Flack and Valley’s Staci Groom also made the cut, as did Whitko’s Karissa Olinske. Other first-team selections were Northfield’s Sydney Eltzroth, Southwood’s Sarah White and Wabash’s Kelsey Cromer. Manchester’s Meika Kennedy and Hannah Little were selected to the second team, along with Valley’s Tory Keirn and Whitko’s Micaela Sylvester.
