All-TRC Baseball, Softball Teams Announced

WABASH – Selections for the All-Three Rivers Conference baseball and softball teams were announced Tuesday.

Baseball

Manchester junior pitcher Hayes Sturtsman and infielder David McAtee were named to the baseball team, and Kane Gable received honorable mention for the Squires.

Tippecanoe Valley was represented by senior infielder Alec Craig on the team, with Adam Myers receiving honorable mention.

Whitko pitcher Drew Bradford, catcher Zach Hewitt, infielder Landen Goff and outfielder Alex Bechtold were All-TRC. Alex Robbins was honorable mention.

Other selections from around the conference were pitchers Sean Smith (Peru) Blake Hamer (Northfield) and Ethan Larson (Maconaquah); catchers Nathan Brimbury (Peru) and Kallen Kelsheimer (Wabash); infielders Carson Blair (Southwood), Kory Fuller (Wabash), Kaleb Kelsheimer (Wabash), Trevor Linn (North Miami), Brady Perez (Rochester) and Kasey Comp (Peru); outfielders Matt Coe (Northfield), Nate Krisher and Duante Majors (Peru), Shane Holden (North Miami), Zach Ball and Matt Cox (Southwood), and extra players Zaine Young (Rochester) and Matthew Stewart (North Miami).

Honorable mention also went to Jared Holley (Wabash), Sam Burcroff (Northfield), Gabe Lloyd (Southwood), Lucas McConahay (Peru), Cody Koebler (Maconaquah), Garrett Bahney (North Miami) and Carter Hooks (Rochester).

Softball

Conference champion Manchester was represented on the All-TRC team by pitchers Brooklyn Howard and Mattie McKee, outfielder Mackenzie Day and infielders Kiera Stacy and Emma West. Sydney Day received honorable mention.

Tippecanoe Valley outfielder Kirstyn Yoder and infielders (and sisters) Abby Betten and Ally Betten were All-TRC, and Sydney Howard was honorable mention.

Regional champion Whitko was represented on the All-TRC team by pitcher Ellie Snep, catcher Emalee Duggins, outfielder Riley Insley and infielder Anna Ousley. Andrea Snavely was honorable mention.

Others named All-TRC were pitchers Ashley Lackman (North Miami) and Bethany Caldwell (Peru); catchers Brooke Elliott (Southwood) and Kiana Kendall (Northfield); outfielders Alexis Taylor (Northfield), Kori Rouch (Rochester), Kassidy Atwood (Southwood) and Megan Sinkovics (Peru); infielders Alexis Elliot (Rochester), Maryann Freeman (North Miami), Courtlynn Crowe (Peru) and Ally Keaffaber (Northfield); and extra players Kennedy Musselman (Rochester) and Hannah Hall (North Miami).

Honorable mention went to Caitlyn Mongosa (Peru), Marlie Halterman (North Miami), Maci Brown (Rochester), Kassity Simpson (Southwood), Shelby Ward (Northfield) and Shelby Spence (Maconaquah).
