All-Conference Softball Teams Named

The Northern Lakes Conference has announced the 2000 NLC All-Conference softball team.

Concord and Plymouth each had four first-team selections. Warsaw, which finished first in the NLC with an 11-1 record, had three make the first team, junior pitcher Michelle Liebsch, senior first baseman Ryann Jones and senior outfielder Laura Overton.

Plymouth's Kevin Gardner, who led the Pilgrims to a 9-3 record, was named NLC Coach of the Year.

The Three Rivers Conference has named the TRC All-Conference softball team. Manchester and Tippecanoe Valley each had two players named to the first team. Manchester's Jessica Hicks and Joni West made the first team, as did Tippecanoe Valley's Mary Martin and Lindsey O'Brien.
