SYRACUSE – Alicia Umber, 32, of North Webster, passed away April 18, 2012, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born March 14, 1980, in Fort Wayne, to Lynn and Susan Goss Umber.
Living most of her life in this area, she spent nearly 10 years in Tennessee. She worked in sales and marketing at Evalon. She also was a medical supervisor in volunteer services for the American Red Cross. She was a member of Wawasee Lakeside Chapel.
Surviving are her mother, Susan (and spouse Norm) Long, Plymouth; her father, Lynn Umber, North Webster; two sisters, Angie Vegso and Chalisa (and spouse Kenny) Jensen, both of Plymouth; her lifetime soulmate, Steve Bartels, North Webster; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Betty Goss, Plymouth; paternal grandparents, Ervin and Marlene Umber, Fort Wayne; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Eastlund Funeral Home, 7458 E. CR 1000N, Syracuse, officiated by Pastor Brad Cox of Wawasee Lakeside Chapel. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
