FLINT, Mich. – Alice Loder, 96, Winona Lake, went home to be with her Lord May 24, 2015, at her granddaughter’s residence.
She was born July 18, 1918, in Flint, to Ralph and Clara Seltzer Coupland. On Oct. 7, 1939, at Third Avenue Baptist Church, Flint, she married Leonard K. Loder, who died in 2000.
She was a lifetime resident of Flint. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and a former member of Faith Baptist Church of Davison.
Surviving are four children: Stanley (and spouse Sue Ellen), Keyser, W.Va.; Paul (and spouse Sandie), Indianapolis; Lois (and spouse Jim) Aspin, Flint; and Daniel (and spouse Carol), Easley, S.C.; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two nieces. She also was preceded in death by sister, Hazel Springgay, and a brother, Raymond Coupland.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Baptist Church, 4222 N. Elms Road, Flushing, with Pastor Kevin Thomas officiating. Burial is in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Calling is from 10 a.m. until time of services Thursday at the church.
