SYRACUSE – Alice L. “Louise” Huber, 89, of Syracuse, died at 10:20 p.m. March 26, 2012, in Lakeland Rehab and Healthcare, Milford.
She was born Oct. 1, 1922, in Syracuse, to Allen F. and Dorothy Searfoss Ritter. On Feb. 6, 1942, in Bryan, Ohio, she married Edwin D. Huber, who died in 1992.
A lifetime Syracuse area resident, she graduated from Syracuse High School in 1940, was a homemaker and did work in her home for Chore Time Brock, Milford, for several years.
Surviving are two daughters, Sandra Bartels, Syracuse, and Cinda Clayton, Milford; a son, Lamar “Butch” Huber, Syracuse; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a grandson, a great-grandson and two brothers.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, with DeWayne Barker officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
