SYRACUSE — Alice Kline, 97, Syracuse, passed away Aug. 1, 2017, at Goshen Hospital.
She was born Feb. 1, 1920, in Whitley County, to George and Mary Banning Fidler. On Feb. 27, 1940, she married Harold Kline, who preceded her in 1998.
She was a lifelong area resident. She attended Calvary United Methodist Church, Syracuse. She was a member of Syracuse American Legion Auxiliary, as well as Mother’s Club.
She is survived by her son, Gary (Shirley) Kline, Syracuse; two grandchildren, Jeffery (Kathy) Kline, River Forest, Ill., and Kimberly Kline, Elkhart; two great-grandchildren, Tom and Olivia; sister, Donna Fidler, Huntertown; sister-in-law, Shirley Fidler, North Webster; and nephew, Greg Fidler, North Webster.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 4, at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse.
Services will be at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor David Henry officiating. Burial will follow at Syracuse Cemetery.
