MILFORD – Alice Betty Farrington, 90, Warsaw, died at 9:55 p.m. Jan. 27, 2014, in Miller’s Merry Manor. She was born April 19, 1923, in Goshen, to Walter Albert and Zora Fay Troup Phillips. On May 14, 1941, she married Robert E. Farrington, who preceded her in death Oct. 16. 1996. She moved from Milford to the Warsaw area 34 years ago and was a homemaker. She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, doing jigsaw puzzles and reading books. She was a loving mother and grandmother and was just a wonderful person to be around. Surviving are a son, Robert L. (and spouse Marjorie) Farrington, Warsaw; three daughters: Rita Boucher, Skidmore, Mo., Lynda Conner, Fishers, and Angelique Uhl, Bourbon; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford, with Pastor Steve Ailes officiating. Burial will follow in Felkner Cemetery. Calling will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. ***** Memorials may be made to Riley Children’s Hospital.
