SYRACUSE - Alice B. Rossell, 87, Syracuse, died at 9:30 p.m. Dec. 24, 2007, in her residence.
She was born Jan. 24, 1920, in Fort Wayne, to James and Ina Garnet Byers. On July 12, 1941, she married James D. Russell, who died in April 2007.
She lived in Indianapolis before moving to Syracuse. She was a member of the North Webster Senior Center.
Also surviving are two sons, Thomas (and spouse Susan) Rossell, Syracuse, and Theodore (and spouse Chris) Rossell, Greenfield; a daughter, Suzanna Steenbergen, California; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandsons.
Private family services will be held at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse. Burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery.
