Attention kids in grades kindergarten to fifth grade, the North Webster Community Center has a summer camp where kids get to learn about lakes and water quality. It's called ‘Algae, Bugs, Fish & the Dixie’ and it is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. July 18-22. It's hands-on, fun and educational. Everyone is treated to a ride on the Dixie on Friday. Contact the North Webster Community Center at leah-nwcc@earthlink.net or call 574-834-1600 to sign up. The camp is taught by scientists from the Tippecanoe Watershed Foundation and Kosciusko Lakes & Streams program.
