NORTH MANCHESTER – Alden Elee “Al” Parker, 88, South Whitley, died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, at Hickory Creek Healthcare in Huntington.
Al was born in Gary on Feb. 7, 1933, to Francis M. and Ruby Hossler Parker.
Al enlisted in the United States Air Force. During his time in the military, he served in the Korean War and worked as a civil service marine machinist on nuclear submarines for 25 years. He retired from service.
A private graveside service at Spring Creek Cemetery, Sidney, will be held at a later date.
The family of Alden Parker has entrusted McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with care and final arrangements.
