Due to an incorrect address on the application, a petition before the Kosciusko County Alcoholic Beverage Commission for a new beer retailer permit was withdrawn from consideration Thursday.
According to Indiana excise officer Patty Fleck, the address for Tejano Club was listed as 1048 S. CR 325E, Pierceton. The address should have been listed as Warsaw.
The application also was invalid because there cannot be an in-city permit outside of city limits and the address is outside Warsaw city limits.
"That doesn't qualify for that permit," Fleck said. "... To my understanding, they have withdrawn this application and will submit a new one."
In other business, the ABC approved the following renewal applications:
Sportsman Bar, North Huntington Street, Syracuse, beer and wine retailer permit.
Gordy's Sub Pub, South Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Sunday sales and beer, wine and liquor retailer permits. According to Fleck, the permits are being held in escrow.
Bud's Bar, Main Street, Milford, beer, wine and liquor and Sunday sales retailer permits.
Lil's Anchor Bar, West Main Street, Syracuse, beer, wine and liquor and Sunday sales retailer permits.
King's Keg, Ind. 13, North Webster, beer, wine and liquor dealer permit.
Wawasee Golf Club, North Bishop Road, Syracuse, beer, wine and Sunday sales retailer permits.
