Without a representative present for the business Thursday, the Kosciusko County Alcoholic Beverage Commission tabled Wal-Mart Stores East LP's petition until October for a transfer of ownership of its beer and wine dealer permit.
The transfer is from Wal-Mart Stores East Inc., Ark., a wholly-owned subsidary of Wal-Mart Stores Inc., to Wal-Mart Stores East LP, Ark. Wal-Mart stores East Inc. is the lessor with East LP being the lessee.
In other business, the ABC approved the following permit renewals:
• Veterans of Foreign Wars 1342, Syracuse, beer, wine and liquor retailer permit.
• The Frog Tavern, Syracuse, beer, wine and liquor and Sunday sales retailer permits.
• Stimmelator's Gentlemen's Club, North Webster, beer, wine and liquor retailer permit.
• Etna Pub, Etna Green, beer, wine and liquor retailer permit.
• Clara's Pizza, Warsaw, beer and wine and Sunday sales retailer permits.
• Kroger, Warsaw, beer and wine dealer permit.
• Channel Marker Restaurant, Syracuse, beer, wine and liquor and Sunday sales retailer permits.
• Wagon Wheel Theatre, Warsaw, beer, wine and liquor retailer permit.
• Hank's C-Stores, Syracuse, beer and wine dealer permit.
Members of the ABC are chairman Darwin Call, Gordon Vanator, Kenneth Johnson and an excise officer. They meet at 1 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month in the county courthouse, Warsaw.
