Kosciusko County Alcohol and Tobacco Commission approved a license renewal for Ye Olde Pub Thursday after discussing with the owner a violation it received. Michael O’Conner, owner of the North Webster restaurant, explained the violation it received Dec. 5 for a server’s expired sale permit, which netted a $150 fine. The server lied to him about the permit, he told commissioners. “I have no questions. Sorry this happened to you,” Commissioner Elim Smith said before the vote to renew the establishment’s liquor license. Also Thursday, commissioners renewed the following licenses with no violations: American Legion Post #258, Pierceton; El Sol LLC, Warsaw; Jimmy’s Restaurant and Lounge, North Webster; Stella’s, Warsaw; Pizza King in both Silver Lake and Syracuse; and Bennigan’s, Warsaw.
