Albert Ray Mullins passed away on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019, at 10:45 a.m. at the age of 74 with his family by his side at his home.

Ray was born on Feb. 2, 1945, to Ervin and Goldie Mullins.

He is preceded in death  by two brothers and one sister, Bestil “Cheeter” Mullins, Bethal Mullins and Frankie Shephard.

There is one surviving brother, Estill Mullins.

Ray was married to Jewell Tackett on March 27, 1967, and have been best friends for 53 wonderful years. They have enjoyed five children together, Teresa Ann, Shannon Ray, Sherry Lynn, Amy Marie and Jonathon Travis. They also enjoyed 11 granchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Ray also had a dog named “Buddy” and always said that he had the perfect name.

Ray’s favorite person in this system was his wife, Jewell, where you saw one, the other was also present. Ray never felt complete if Jewell was not by his side.

Ray also enjoyed playing his guitar and singing for his children and his grandchildren. When he would play, the whole room lit up and everyone stopped to hear what song he would pick to sing. He never learned to read music but was able to play and sing anything he had heard, even if it was only one time before.

Ray was very proud to be one of Jehovahs Witnesses and could lead you to the correct answer of any question you may have about the bible. He was very proud of his knowledge of the bible and gave all credit to Jehovah.

This man will be greatly missed, as there was no other like him.

Services will be at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Warsaw at 1 p.m. on Oct. 5.
