Albert E. “Al” Geller, 78, Warsaw, formerly of Georgia, passed away Oct. 25, 2017, at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw.
Al was born Sept. 27, 1939, in Morocco, to Edward and Freeda Story Geller. He married Debra Pine on Aug. 14, 1993; she survives.
Al graduated from Morocco High School and went on to honorably serve his country in the United States Air Force.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and liked watching football and NASCAR. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He had a good sense of humor and was a really good story teller.
Al is survived by his wife, Deb, Warsaw; five children: Dale (Rhonda) Geller, Florida.; Greg (Robin) Geller, North Carolina; Josh (Hannah) Geller, Ohio; Natasha (Lee) Geller, Fort Wayne; and Justin (Taylor) Geller, Georgia; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Janet Hyde, Warsaw; a brother, Tim (Carolyn) Geller, Morocco; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson and one brother.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30, at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Arrangements were entrusted to Heritage Funeral and Cremation Services, Warsaw.
