AKRON – Akron Elementary School’s Parent Support Group will sponsor its Family Fall Fest Oct. 9 at Akron Elementary School. Food concessions, sponsored by Akron Chamber of Commerce with food provided by Jones & Company Catering and Concessions, will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the cafeteria. Carnival games will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets are three for $1. There will be Duck Pond, Bozo Buckets, Potty Toss, Tweezer Me, Fling-a-Frog, Lucky Keys, Temper Tantrum, Moonwalk, Ooey Gooey Nose Pick, Defying Gravity, A Bit Dicey, cake walk, Pop Ring Toss, Ski Ball, face painting, crazy hair and water and cotton candy. Akron Student Council will sell Lumitons and Akron Sling Bags for $5 each as well as Lip Pops for $1 each or two for $1.50. Supplies are limited. TG’s Frozen Yogurt from Warsaw will sell yogurt and toppings for $4. Photo booth is 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., for $2 or six tickets. Silent auction is 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., with a live auction starting at 7 p.m. Some of the auction items will be classroom baskets/craft items, hand-painted desk, paintings from local artists, handmade quilt and more. The raffle is 5:30 to 7 p.m. Winners will be posted after the live auction. Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Some of the raffle items include two pop-up canopies, two outdoor fountains, numerous coupons to local places like Eastlake Skating, Crazy Pins and more.
