Akron Chamber Promotes 'Celebrate In Place' 4th Of July Celebration, Contest

AKRON – The Akron Chamber of Commerce is asking for residents and businesses to decorate their front yards, porches or storefronts for the “Celebrate In Place” Fourth of July celebration.
The event will take place at 8 p.m. July 4th, and a float of judges will parade through the town to award the best decorate home and business. The event will be livestreamed to the Akron 4th of July Facebook page from the judge’s float.
The Chamber also asks residents to continue practicing social distancing, even during holiday celebrations.
