Akron Chamber Cancels Summer’s End Festival For 2020

AKRON – In an announcement Monday night, the Akron Chamber of Commerce said it was cancelling the 2020 Summer’s End Festival.
The statement reads: “Out of the utmost care, compassion and concern for the residents of Akron and neighboring residents due to the current conditions and risks from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Akron Chamber of Commerce, Akron Summer’s End Festival Committee and with the support of the Akron Town Council, jointly announce that the Akron Summer’s End Festival scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020, has been cancelled and will be rescheduled for September 2021.”
