Airport

Lately, I haven't noticed any discussion about the extensions of the runways and the closing of the road bordering the airport on the east. Was a decision made on these things or does it matter anymore? If it matters, then how's this: "The runways are lengthened by gradual elevation so that they go over the current road and a gradual de-elevation down to ground level east of the road." The road could be lowered some to make the height of the overpass less.

Whatever expansion is done, how will it be financed? I have heard many scenarios and the only concern I have is if any of the county's money or Warsaw money or state money is used, then I would think the airport would then have to add commercial flights so that this isn't just used for some small minority of airplane owners to further their interests only. After all, public funds should be used for public use unless, of course, this project brought commercial flights to help service the public also. (I'm told by a reliable source that Prop-Jets flew in and out of the airport before the runway length even became an issue.)
