Pierceton Elementary fourth-graders attended Ag Day at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds April 9. The field trip is sponsored by the Purdue Extension Office in Kosciusko County. Students learn a considerable amount of information about agriculture in Indiana. Pictured are students from Mrs. Ball’s fourth-grade class. Zackaria Stump and Zachary Traxler are demonstrating how filter strips used in farming help conserve soil and keep our water clean.
