Information regarding the replacement of Kent Adams to the Warsaw School Board was released Wednesday.
Adams officially resigned from the board Monday, with his resignation effective midnight Jan. 1.
Adams is resigning due to being elected to clerk-treasurer for Winona Lake.
As a result of the resignation, the school board is seeking applications to appoint a qualified candidate to fill the one year remaining on Adams’ term.
All candidates must reside within voting district 4, and be at least 21 years old.
According to a press release, all applicants are requested to submit a notice of their interest, application and resume/curriculum vitae in writing to WCS Superintendent Dr. Craig J. Hintz via U.S. mail, email or hand delivered to the superintendent’s office, 1 Administration Drive, Warsaw, IN 46581.
The information must be received no later than noon Dec. 23.
Application materials are posted on the school corporation’s website at www.warsaw.k12.in.us
The board expects to conduct interviews Jan. 3, with appointment of the candidate on Jan. 5.
