NORTH MANCHESTER — Adaline breathed her last breath on Sunday evening, May 6, 2018, at 7:27 p.m.

Born Jan. 20, 1939, she started her life’s journey in Prestonsburg, Ky., before later moving to Indiana with her parents and six siblings.

All who were fortunate enough to know this woman can attest that this tiny spitfire of a lady, who had very little, accomplished a lot in her life. This matriarch of a woman had four biological children, but countless others called her mom as she was able to positively touch the lives of anyone she came across. This woman was one of the most stubborn, bullheaded people you would ever meet, but continuously gave everything she had to help those in need.

The family is having a gathering to celebrate her life at Gospel Hill Pentecostal Church of God fellowship hall, 303 S. Jefferson St., Silver Lake, from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 12.

Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren loved this woman with all their heart. Everyone who knew her was both blessed and extremely proud to call her Mom.

Condolences may be sent at mckeemortuary.com.
