AKRON – Adalberto Arias Gutierrez, 57, Akron, died at 8:18 p.m. March 7, 2015, in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. He was born Sept. 24, 1957, in Tepatitlan DeMoreos, Jalisco, Mexico, to Salvador Gutierrez and Maria Delaluz Arias Munoz. On May 2, 1981, in Long Beach, Calif., he married Rachel Lucero, who survives in Akron. He was a sheet metal mechanic and a farmer. He was a member of the Gospel Hill Pentecostal Church of God of Silver Lake. He praised the Lord, took care of his animals and enjoyed his family time. Also surviving are a daughter, Luz Cristina (and spouse Matthew) Haussmann, Talma; three sons: Juan Alberto (and spouse Nicole) Gutierrez, Rock Lake; Jesus A. and Diego A. Gutierrez, both of Akron; six grandchildren: Emma Hill; Abigail, Chloe and Mattilyn Haussmann; Braxton and Bella Gutierrez; three sisters: Raqlue Gutierrez de Rios, Anna Rosa Gutierrez and Cristina Isabel Gutierrez de Martinez, all of Tepatitlan DeMoreos. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Benjamin Gutierrez Arias. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Gospel Hill Pentecostal Church of God, 303 S. Jefferson St., Silver Lake, with Pastor Frank Whitaker officiating. Burial is in Akron Cemetery. Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
