ADA Transition Plan Public Hearing Held

A public hearing was held during Monday night’s Warsaw City Council meeting for an Americans With Disabilities Act Transition Plan.
The city is in the process of updating its plan in order to be in compliance with federal regulations.
The ADA plan is available for review at the building and planning department, Warsaw Community Public Library and city hall.
After the public comment period, with city will formally adopt the plan after any modifications to the plan are considered based on public comments.
Indiana Department of Transportation requires the city must have an ADA plan to receive federal funds, Jeremy Skinner, city planner, said.
