NAPPANEE - Ada J Yoder, 81, of 13245 N. Ind. 19, Nappanee, died at 3 a.m. Oct. 21, 2010, in her residence, after a short illness.
She was born Feb. 25, 1929, in Kosciusko County, to John E. and Mary Alice Yoder Miller. On Dec. 24, 1946, in Nappanee, she married Eldon Yoder, who survives.
A lifetime area resident, she was a homemaker and worked many years at the Anglemyer Clinic, Nappanee. She was a longtime member of North Main Street Mennonite Church, Nappanee.
Also surviving are three daughters: Lois (and spouse Clell) Kandel, Nappanee; Peg (and spouse Joe) Leatherman, Syracuse; and Jean Yoder, Goshen; four granddaughters; and a sister, Miriam (and spouse Ura) Hochstetler, Nappanee. She was preceded in death by a sister.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at North Main Street Mennonite Church with the Rev. Ruben Chupp officiating, assisted by the Rev. Ruben Chupp. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at South Union Cemetery. Friends may join the family for burial prior to the service.
